ROSEMARY DAY
Y.W.C.A. MEMBERS MEET A Rosemary Day gathering was held yesterday in the Y.W.C.A. Assembly Hall, Upper Queen Street, as a continuation of the celebrations marking the diamond jubilee of the association. About 250 guests were present and they were received by the president, Mrs. T. Derrick, who presented each with a sprig of rosemary. . Seated on the official platform were past presidents or their representatives. They were: Mrs. A. L. Massey and Miss White, granddaughters of the first president, Mrs. Angus White; Miss M. Mactier, representing her mother; Mrs. R. B. Wilson, representing Mrs. W. S. Wilson; Mrs. Ralph Jones, representing her mother, Mrs. A. O. Knight; Mrs. J. McKail Geddis; Mrs. J. Tyler, representing her cousin, Mrs. H. G. Pacey; Mrs. J. A. Bradstreet, who also represented Mrs. Enoch Wood; Mrs. A. Garrard, Mrs. A. D. Campbell.
The guest speaker for the afternoon was Miss Jean Stevenson, who has recently returned from India.
