EX-ARMY SISTERS
MEETING AT CLUBROOMS
A meeting of club members of the Returned Army Nursing Sisters' Association was held in their clubrooms in the R.S.A. Building, the president, Miss E. F. Stanton, presiding. The financial statement, presented by the treasurer, Miss A. C. Searrell, for the first year's working was considered very satisfactory. The rooms are comfortably and artistically furnished as the result of many generous donations. Thanks were accorded the furnishing committee, of which Mrs. Cooke is the convener, for their work.
An afternoon tea was later held when returned sisters of the present war were guests of the club. They were cordially welcomed by the president, Miss Stanton, assisted by Miss E. M. Nutsey, former matron-in-chief in the Middle East. Several of the sisters met for the first time since their return from overseas service and consequently a very pleasant afternoon was spent. Mrs. A. F. Watson was responsible for providing afternoon tea. Miss Colson expressed the thanks of the guests, who, she stated, would appreciate the amenities of the club.
