NO CONVICTION
RACEHORSE STABBING CASE SIX MONTHS' ADJOURNMENT The Sir Ringman case was again before Mr. J. H. Luxford. S.M.. in the Children's Court yesterday afternoon. When the case was heard last week the magistrate found that the charge against a 17-year-old stable boy of causing cruelty to the racehorse bv stabbing it. on May 4 had been nroved. A charge of causing mischief on the same day was dismissed, together with charges relating to the stabbing of the horse on March 30. The case was then adjourned pending a report from the child welfare officer.
"laam not going to enter a conviction at this stage, in view of the report I have received from the psychiatrist," said Mr.- Luxford yesterday.
The case was adjourned for six months, the youth in the meantime to be placed under the probation officer for advice.
