LABOURER REMANDED
ATTEMPTED ARSON ALLEGED
Charged that at Waiuku on May 19 he wilfully attempted to set fire to the Kentish Hotel, Reginald James McKegney (44/, a labourer, appeared in the Police Court this morning. In obtaining a remand until Monday next, Detective-Sergeant Fell said accused was only arrested late on Saturday night. Further inquiries had to be made.
