RETURNED MEN

Being one of the N.C.O.'s who are holding down so-called "cushy jobs" in the Home Service, I agree with your correspondent, "Sacrifice," that these positions could be taken over by some of our returned boys. However, can he locate the returned men who are willing to take the work over, as I can give your correspondent my assurance that the majority of the N.Z.T.S. would only be too glad to return to their previous employment. I personally have applied to the Army release section of the Manpower Department for my discharge within the last month without success. GRADE 111., 1941.
