AGREEMENT RATIFIED
TIMBER WORKERS' WAGES Advice has.been received by the national secretary of the New Zealand Timber Workers' Union, Mr. P. Craig, of Auckland, that the Arbitra+ion Court has ratified the agreement reached by representatives of the union and the Sawmillers' Association increasing wage rates in the timber industry in conformity with the Court's recent pronouncement on standard wage rates. The amended award operated as from April 1 last.
