ANZAC DAY

rOSTAL ARRANGEMENTS Anzac Day, April 25, will be observed as a Sunday. Mails for Southern offices will close at the Chief Post Office at noon for dispatch by the Main Trunk express. Late fee letters may be posted at the Chief Post Office up to 1 p.m. and at the Auckland Railway Station up to 2.45 p.m. for inclusion in the Southern dispatches. An inland air mail will not be dispatched. Street receivers and suburban post offices will not be cleared, nor will postmen's deliveries be made. The telegraph branch will be open on Anzac Day between the hours of 10.a.m. and 10.30 a.m. and 6.30 and .30 p.m.
