CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS The Auckland Croquet Association's champion of champions tournament opened to-day. Following are the results of this morning's play in the A grade: Mrs. Baker beat Mesdames Manuel, Smith, CleaTe and Rowbottam; Miss Keatley beat Mesdames Knowles, Clarke, Cleave and Manuel: Mrs. Smith beat Mrs. Bartlett, Rowbottam, Manuel and Clarke; Mrs. Knowles beat Mrs. Bartlett: Mrs. Clarke beat Mrs. Knowles; Mrs. Cleave beat Mrs. Smith.
