FINNISH GOVERNMENT

RESIGNATION HANDED IN Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, April 9. The Finnish radio has announced that M. Paasikivi. the Prime Minister, has handed the resignation of his Government to the President, who has asked the Ministers to carry on until a new Government is formed. M. Paasikivi formed a new Government at the end of last year in succession to the Hackzell Government. He was prominently associated with the negotiations that ended the war with Russia.
