A- German, overseas' news agency reporter,' giving an eye-witness description of the R.A.F.'s destruction of the town of Haiderstadt, on the eastern edge of the Hartz Mountains, said the Allied air forces reverted 'to their steam-roller tactics. \ \ . "Twenty-four hours ago," he added, "I saw Halderstadt wiped off the face of. the earth within 25 minutes by successive- bomber waves.". . . . . '
