ENGAGEMENTS ANNOUNCED
Draper—Smith.—'The engagement is announced between Claude (Mick), late Second N.Z.E.F., younger son of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. G. Draper, 2, Anzac Road, Whangarei, and Lola Mabel, only daughter of the late Mr. W. T. Smith and Mrs. C. Gregory, 44, Methuen Road, Avondale. Mrs. T. P. McCready, who has been a member of the Local Rehabilitation Committee in Auckland since its inception as representative of women's organisations, tendered her resignation at the monthly meeting of the committee yesterday. The resignation was received with regret, and a resolution was passed expi-'ssing appreciation of her work in che interests iof ex-service per -.onnel.
