REHABILITATION SCHEMES The trade training sub-committee of the local rehabilitation committee reported ' yesterday that there were at present 92 carpentry trainees undergoing the first year courses. In addition, 21 trainees were on the 12 months' extension course. The next classes at Auckland would commence on May 28 and June 18, when 50 trainees will begin their new careers.

Eight returned men were taking the welding class, and a survey disclosed that quite a number of welders could be placed in th£ industry, it was stated. Representations had been made to continue the classes. In other trades there were 65 trainees.
