HOSPITAL PLANNING

COMMITTEE TO MEET WEEKLY Decision to have weekly meetings of the standing committee for administration and future hospital planning was made by the Auckland Hospital Board last night. "The committee should meet regularly to investigate long-term plans, and it should be on the job now," said Mr. G. F. Bartley, in moving the resolution.

The chairman, Mr. Allan J. Moody, said that he did not think it was any use proceeding with planning until decision was given by the Government as to the future size of the Auckland Hospital. Mr. Selwyn B. Morris said there were enough matters to be considered to keep the committee going every day for three months without After further discussion the resolution was passed unanimously.
