NEWTON LEAGUE CLUB
The reorganisation of the Newton Rangers Rugby League Club comes about as the result of an enthusiastic annual meeting. This old established club promises this season to play a prominent part in League activities, and good support is assured from the 50 members who attended the meeting. The following officers were elected:—Committee, J. Rowntree (chairman), E. Hayson, K. Childs, J. R. Green, G. Woolley, J. Davison, W. Condon, E. Cowley, S. Daviscn; treasurer, Mr. W. Preston; secretary, Mr. G. Simms.
