PAINT FOR MOTOR CARS
The contention of the Paint Controller that there was a scarcity of synthetic enamel was challenged in a letter received at a meeting of the council of the Automobile Association (Auckland) last night from Mr. R. W. Kemp, chairman of the Hamilton advisory committee. He protested against the "raw deal" the motorist was getting in being denied the right of purchasing suitable synthetic paint to protect his car. It was decided to refer the matter to the North Island Motor Union.
