Flight-Lieutenant V. J. Andrew, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Andrew, Onehunga, has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, He ■was educated at the Onehunga District High School and the Seddon Memorial Technical College. After service with the 75th Bomber Squadron he is now instructing. He was married last December to a Scottish girl.
