CRASH INTO HILL
FIGHTER PILOT KILLED
AUCKLANDER TESTING PLANE
P.A. WELLINGTON, this day. When a R.N.Z.A.F. Warhawk aircraft crashed into the side of a hill six miles north of Hunterville this afternoon thepllot, Flight-Lieutenant Hilliard Frp.ast Boucher, was killed instantaneously. The aircraft was being test flown. The cause 6f the crash is unknown. Flight-Lieutenant Boucher was 25 years old. He was an old boy of the Auckland Grammar School. He had completed three tours of duty in the Pacific as a fighter pilot. His mother is* Mrs. E. R. Boucher, of Epsom, Auckland.
