VETERANS AT BOWLS
A bowling match between St. Helier's and Mt. Eden teams drawn from members of the South African AVar Veterans' Association in the Springbok competition resulted in a win for the former by 19—15, a lucky three on the twentieth head putting the decision beyond doubt. Mt. Eden led on eleven heads and St. Helier's on ten. The teams were: St. Helier's, D. S. Johnstone, F. Barrett, W, L. Wilson, S. Mahon; Mt. Eden, H. Head, R. Grieve, R. W. Black, A. Hammond.
