Jack Potts has a fine record as a sire of Cup Horses. Lucky Jack (two wins and a second), Marlene (winner in 1940), Gamble (second in 1937), Ginger Jack (fourth in 3938), and Countless and Pacing Power (second and third last year), are among his progeny. Jack Potts is well represented this year by Pacing Power, Countless, Indian Clipper, Clockwork and Horsepower.
