MY BONNIE RESUMES

SEEN OUT AT TAKANIXI My Bonnie, the best juvenile Ally of her age last season, is again in hand and in bright, healthy condition. The Coronach juvenile has not grown a great deal, but her ability will ensure her a prominent part in the decision of any classic event which may be selected for her. . _ . The Railway Handicap winner Sweet Biscuit is also numbered among those which have rejoined the active brigade, and is looking well after her spel . Her failure in the Great Northern Oaks was disconcerting to her connections, who were not prepared for her poor showing in a mediocre field, but the fact that she failed in two sprint races immediately afterwards suggests that she was not at her best at Easter. There are few faster sprinters than this filly, which will improve her record. ,^ To race this season as a gelding, Representative's future will be interesting. This handicap performer possesses quite a good record, but it is noticeable that his best form has been displayed in the spring, and, for this reason, he will be considered in early events. Balfron, which failed to make top grade last term, is again in good order for his pending preparation. There have been occasions when the Bulandshar gelding promised to be really good, and, while he proved a profitable investment, his stake earnings were chiefly amassed through minor placings.

Additions to Stables There have been further additions to Takanini stables during recent weeks, the most notable being Inkspot, a speedy iuvenile last season, and now under the guidance of J. H. Wallace. P. E. Pope has also added a yearling filly by Vaals to his team, the newcomer being a halfsister to Lady Dink, while C. Morse s rapidly-filling stable has had three additions, these being Katie Scarlett, Owing and a three-year-old filly by Nightly-— Kilcannon. Owing is an aged gelding by Autopay—Flying Musk which has not raced since June of last year. Hayduk, Good Bay and Great Pleasure are making progress under H. J. PJnn,, and are fairly well forward. The firstnamed pair have shown fair form, and should hold their own in hack class, but so far Great Pleasure has failed to make an impression. An upstanding gelding by Saleve, he may be better now that he has acquired maturity.
