HOME LESSONS
In regard to "Puzzled Parent's" letter I would say this—perhaps his children are lucky. At my school we have to do only a total of three hours' homework, half an hour for each master, but very often it takes longer than this. If the pupil does not do it he gets behind in his work. For me, at any rate, this leaves .-practically no time for relaxation. I urge that an inquiry be made into this matter by the Education Department. AUCKLAND GRAMMAR PCEi2v ■
