RACING ELECTIONS
I notice from the paper that, there will he an election for the committee of the Auckland Racing Club. It is to be hoped that on this occasion they elect a committee with modern ideas and some understanding of the needs of racegoers. The committee which has been controlling racing at EUerslie during the past 10 years or so has not kept"ahead of the times and has surely earned the right to be called "old-fashioned and conservative." RACEGOER.
