Trooper J. J. Kingsford (30), youngest son of Mrs. L. C. Kingsford and the late Mr. C. H. Kingsford, of Milford, who is reported killed in action in Italy. Trooper Kingsford was educated at the Takapuna Grammar School. He was a member of the North Shore Golf Club and the Milford Tennis Club and also took part in yachting activities. He left for overseas service last year and served as a wireless operator in the New Zealand Armoured Corps.
