UNUSUAL FATALITY
WOMAN SHOPPER KILLED (PA.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. A married woman was killed by a •falling beam to-day while she was shopping in the mantle department of a store in George Street. She was Mrs. Alice McMillan, aged 59, wife of Mr. Robert McMillan, of Dunedin. A small beam 10ft long, presumably being used in connection with alterations at the back of the premises, fell through a skylight and struck Mrs. McMillan, who was removed to hospital, but was dead when she was admitted.
