AUCKLAND GAS SUPPLY

The position in 'connection with the Auckland gas supply has improved. The manager of the Auckland Gas Company,- Mr. R. Worley, stated this morning that if things went on as at present, and nothing unforeseen happened, . industries could be supplied on Monday, and restrictions on householders removed. , , , , Mr. Worley added that it had to be clearly understood that if industry attempted to overtake arrears, the supply would not meet the demand.
