MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
"The doctor is so inundated wifrh requests for certificates that he has a printed form," remarked Mr, F. H. Levien, S.M., this morning when a defendant in a prosecution under the manpower regulations produced a medical certificate to say that he was unable to work. The magistrate said that the printed certificate had certain particulars relating to the defendant filled in. The defendant stated in reply to the magistrate that he did not have to pay a fee for the certificate as the cost of it was provided for under Social. Security.
