AIR CHIEF'S VISIT
LEIGH-MALLORY IN NORMANDY British Official Wireless Rec 1 p.m. RUGBY, June 15. Air Chief-Marshal Sir Trafford Leigh-Mallory, Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Expeditionary Air Force, has paid a flying visit to the units under his command in the battle area. He also visited General Montgomery's headquarters and consuited with senior air officers. Coming back he gave a Jift to thre~ R A.F. Spitfire pilots, who had been forced to land, following damage from flak in the Caen area. . Air-Marshal Sir Arthur Coningham, Commander of the Allied Tactical Air Force, also visited Normandy.
