DOMINION BREWERIES UP

Further hardening in Dominion Breweries took place on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, the shares selling up to £2 G/, a recoi-d high price. The previous record was £2 5/9 in July, 1937. Offers for McKcnzies were lifted to £2 19/, with butter quoting £3 0/6. Auckland Laundry was also in firmer demand. Government stocks displayed an improved tone, with buyers considerably outnumbering sellers.
