FULL DISTRIBUTION YN IMPORTANT AGREEMENT An agreement recently signed in jondon between leading British and American film companies provides or the maximum distribution of British films in New Zealand, accordng to Mr. Otto Bolle, executive in iharge of Twentieth Century-Fox rilm Corporation affairs in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, ,vho has arrived in the Dominion ;o discuss arrangements with Mr. Eric Rutledge, managing director of ;he corporation in New Zealand. The agreement was completed by Mr. J. Arthur Rank, the leading English producer, distributor and exhibitor, and Mr. Spyros Skouras, president of the Fox organisation. "When the time comes for the winning of the peace the ( screen must play as vital a part as it has done and is doing now to win the war," said Mr. Bolle. "British and American film interests working in harmony and combining their mighty resources can provide an invaluable instrument for the making of better human relationship between all the nations." The agreement just concluded made available to British film producers the facilities of his corporation for distribution, he added.
