PAIRS TOURNEY
INTERMEDIATE BOWLS
SECTION PLAY PROGRESSES
Four rounds had been completed in the intermediate pairs tourney of the Auckland Bowling Centre by lunchtime to-day It was intended to finish the remaining three this afternoon. The third round which was interrupted yesterday by a ' thundershower, was completed this morning. This interruption resulted in a decision to shorten the number of ends in the remaining rounds to 15. Players with five wins qualify for post-section play which will take place on the Mount Eden green to-morrow and if necessary on Saturday.
