INVITATION ACCEPTED combtxed services v. reps. The invitation of the Auckland Cricket Association to the services to field a combined team against the Auckland representative XI. has been accepted, and the game will take place at Eden Park on April 8 and 10, Easter Saturday and Monday. This will compensate 'he public for the cancellation of the return game with Wellington on accownt of the rail restrictions.

The club championship final between Grafton-Y.11.C.A." and Parnell will commence on Saturday on the main oval. This game will be concluded oil March 25, on which day a game between rspresentative service and. civilian teams will be in progress in Wellington. Auckland club sides may be weaker on this account. The four teams not in the final have been drawn to meet in a knock-out competition this week under divided time, the winners to play off .ou March 25. The draw is:—Final: Grafton-Y.M.C.A. v. Parnell, Eden Park No. 1, Messrs. J. C. Harris and O. R. Montgomery. Knockout Competition: Eden-Ponsonby-Balmoral v. University-Middlemore, 'Eden Park No. 3, Messrs. F. J. Rushton and G. Tucker; North Shore v. Parnell Colts, Devonport, Messrs. R. W. Mitchell and L. Cullen. Senior B.—First Section: Training College v. North Shore, Devonport; University v. Eden - Ponsonby - Balmoral, Papatoetoe, Messrs. A. Anderson and G. Webber: Y.M.C.A. v. Takapuna Grammar School, Takapuna Grammar (one-day friendly match). Second section.—Marist v.
