CO-OPERATIVE SCHEME

GAS WORKERS HANDICAPPED

As the Minister of Supply, Mr. Sullivan, anticipated in his public statement, the Auckland Gas Company's co-operative scheme is prejudiced by the present coal crisis, says Mr. W. A. Members of other unions employed at the gasworks will elect one representative of the engineers, engine drivers and bricklayers, one of the repair and maintenance men such as gas fitters and boilermakers, one of the clerical staff and one of the balance of the uinons not numericalv strong.
