CAKES FOR SOLDIERS

If "Another Mother" would get some cod fat at her butchers she would not worry about butter for her boy's cakes. 1 have made lots of cakes with dripping called school cakes. After getting the cod fat melt it down and let it get cold, thenuse in the way you would butter, lour boy would be forever grateful to you, as he would neve/ know the difference. This, I may tell you, IS not cheapening the cake, and keeps just as well as butter. It is not rationed, and is not as hard as suet when melted. TESTED AND TRIED.
