Auckland Gas shares were in keener demand on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-dav, sales takins place at 7/S, a gain of 2(1 on late business. Listed sales included a fair proportion of Government stock, which was cleared at llrm prices. The recent improvement in the insurance section was maintained, and steady levels rilled throughout the market, with sellers in the minority.
