OBITUARY
3IR. SAMUEL DARRAGH (0.C.) TAURANGA, this day. For nearly 60 years closely connected with farming life in Tauranga, Mr. Samuel Darragh has died at Te Awamutu. An outstanding horse judge, Mr. Darragh was- a large buyer of horses at Bay 01 Plenty fairs, and of cattle at sales in the Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. His horses won many prizes at various agricultural showsHe was born in Belfast, Ireland, ana came to New Zealand as a child. He is survived by his wife and one daughter.
