RESTRICTIONS URGED
ALIENS AND BUSINESSES
(0.C.) WHANGAREI, this day. The Northland executive of the Next-of-Kin Association decided last night to urge that restrictions concerning the purchase of land by aliens be extended to cover them acquiring businesses. The chairman stated that now that aliens had been prevented from buying land, it seemed as if they were turning their attention towards the obtaining of businesses. Several recent examples of this in the Whangarei district were quoted.
