TRAM COURTESY
While standing in Queen Street on f Tuesday last I watched a few people I board a tram. The last person to get | on was a young lady, and she naa i barely taken hold of the handrai | when the tram started off at fulig speed, with the result that the youn? | lady was flung on her back on to the | tram line. Although an Allied ser-1 viceman called out to the tram driver i the tram kept on its way. The driver | looked out of the window, yet did no: | stop to see if the girl was hurt or . not. This sort of thing has happened more than once of late, and if it I s | allowed to continue it may happen | again, with perhaps tragic results. FAIR PLAIi
