DOMAIN SEMI-FINAL
GPiEEX LANE TO MEET M.T.P. A
Green Lane and M.T.F. A will meet on Saturday at the Domain In the semi-final of tiie City and Suburban Cricket Association's "knock-out competition. The winner will meet Manukau in the final. As the management committee felt that M.T.P. A. which had not met a senior team in this combined senior and senior B competition, should not have the benefit of getting the bye and thus entering the final a draw was made between Green Lane and Manukau as to which club should meet M.T.P. A in the semi-final.
The Brixton Club protested against the playing by Manukau A in the match last Saturday ' of a player who had been included in the Manukau B team the previous week in the competition. Manukau B was eliminated by Green Lane, the player in question, York, making 43. For Manukau A last Saturday York made 63 not out. The protest was dismissed.
