Captain R. E. Horrocks, M.C., son of Mrs. M. Horrocks, of Takapuna, who has been killed in action. Captain Horrocks, who was educated at the Takapuna Grammar School and Auckland University College, was awarded the Military Cross in September last year for courage and leadership in Bir Khalda.
