This evening His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, attended by Captain H. G. Helmore, was present at a reception held at the Town Hall in honour of the jubilee of the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Auckland.
December 11, 1943.
His Excellency, the GovernorGeneral will leave Auckland for Wellington to-morrow evening.
