CONCLUDING DAY AT NAPIER The Napier Park Racing Club will bring its spring meeting to a close at Greenmeadows to-morrow, and that good horse Ilakanui is likely to be favourite against the moderate lot opposed to him in the Waiohaki Stakes. A LIKEI/E IMPROVER Although Kraal failed to earn any stake money in the EUerslie Handicap last Saturday, she was right up behind the placed horses at the finish. It was her first race for several months, and the run should benefit her. Kraal is engaged in the Claudelands Handicap, one mile, at tne Waikato meeting, and should be worth following. GOING OX THE RIGHT WAY A couple of juveniles that have made good progress of late are Gaelic Salute and Royal Meer. They have both developed into nice-looking youngsters ana have been showing promising speed m their workouts under D. Arnott s SuMance.
