AIRMAN DECORATED
Flying-Officer Leslie G. Fowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Fowler, of Mount Eden, has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He is an old boy of the Auckland Grammar School and was employed in the Public Service. The citation accompanying the award states that Flying-Officer Fowler has completed numerous raids over enemy territory. At all times he has shown coolness and determination and has maintained a high standard of navigation.
