DEFENDED DIVORCE
"Sequel to a Boxing Day party at Port Charles, Coromandel, last December a defended divorce action wfs heard before Mr. Justice Fair and a iury on Wednesday and yesterday when Agnes Una Gwendoline Svddall (Mr. Haigh) sought dissolution of her marriage with -Percy Cuthbert Syddall (Mr. C. E. j-iaiKej on the ground of alleged adultery, which he denied. Evidence for the petitioner was that in the course of the party a relative of petitioner saw respondent and.a married woman come out of an unlit room after having had his attention attracted by suspicious actions in the room. In denying the allegation, which was also denied by the woman, the respondent alleged that innocent circumstances had been distorted. . The jury returned a verdict m favour of petitioner, and his Honor granted a decree nisi.
