SOLDIERS' MESSAGES

When waiting for the broadcast of the boys overseas, it makes me wonder why the relatives of the men serving in England cannot have a time earlier in the evening—lo.ls p.m. and 11.15 p.m. is very late. Admittedly the names are put over at 6.15 p.m. on Mondays, but why cannot the following time be given them instead of someone's trip to somewhere, as last Monday. Surely this could be put over later. Relatives still have to sit up waiting in case some Kin J boy sends a message from their boy. Surely some better time could be arranged. We wait longest for our little, which is hard enough, and very little chance of them coming home till the job is done. Some of us have to go to work and don't always feel like sitting up late. A MOTHER.
