PLQESTI RAID SUCCESS
CUT IN OIL PRODUCTION Rec. 11 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 19. The Istanbul agents of the AngloRumanian Oil Company have reported that the daylight raid on the Ploesti oilfields on August 1 by 200 United States Liberator bombers will cut production 60 per cent for three months and 25 per cent for a year.
