FATALITY ON TUG

FUMES OVERCOME WORKMEN (P.A.) DUNEDIN, Friday. Overcome by acetylene fumes while working on the Otago Harbour Board's tug, 'an elderly man died after his admission to hospital yesterday. He was Mr. Benjamin Parsons, aged 74." This morning Mr. Frederick Morrison, aged 62, was admitted to the hospital also suffering from the effects of fumes. It was reported to-night that his condition was still critical.
