DASHING SPRINT
PHALEKON AND NIZAM Infusing plenty of vim into their trial, Phaleron and Nizam were the star performers at Ellerslie this morning, when they dashed over half a mile on the No. 2 grass in 495. Easter engagements. - -•- Another one to impress was the ,7Jr. Standfast gelding- Kiatere Ma'abi which finished full of running at the • end'' of four furlongs in 50s. British Talent defeated Flylite by a big margin over a round in 1.43, and the somewhat disappointing Foxbridge hack Bright Fox was schooled over a couple of hurdles, shaping nicely for a beginner.
