POPULATION
The question of immigration is of major importance to our country, and should not be overlooked by anyone with the welfare of New Zealand at heart. I fail to see where Britain can be of help to us in this matter, as apart from war casualties the birth control clinics have effectively sabotaged the British Empire. Given economic stabilisation and equitable family bonuses, plus the prevention of the sale of contraceptives except under medical license, we can soon populate our own country with healthy children. By this I do not mean regimentation similar to that adopted by totalitarian Powers, but the wholesome carrying out of the function of real married life. I venture to suggest those parents are happier than tiie childless married couples who are selfish enough to think of ;heir own pleasure first. If we can ?et a party which will guarantee the ramily its right place and honour ve will go a long way to solve our statistics. FIFTH COMMANDMENT.
