NAZIS HOLD 1000 HOSTAGES Rec. 2.30 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 18. A belated recorded version of the speech made by the Dutch Quisling, Anton Mussert, on February 13 was broadcast from Holland to-day. It reveals that Reydon, newly appointed Propaganda Minister in the Quisling Government, was seriously but not fatally wounded. Mussert admitted a recent wave of counter-actions against the Nazis. Hundreds of students were arrested and joined the thousands of hostages the Germans already hold. No hostages have so far, been executed, but Mussert said that this magnanimity could not last.
