EDUCATION AFFAIRS
The Epsom school is to be established as a Normal school, stated a notification from the Education Department, received by the Aucklarrti Education Board yesterday. The school will be reorganised as soon as an application for a grant for extra classrooms has been disposed of. A suggestion from the Mount Roskill School committee that the name of the school be changed to Three Kings, to coincide with the name of the district, was discussed. It was pointed out that the school was situated at the Three Kings terminus. The board decided to suggest the calling of a special householders' meeting to consider proposal.
